The Urban Seed – Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt

This design promotes: The Urban Seed
John Hofmann, a 26-year-old, was the first to think of the "Urban Seed" concept. He thought this idea could be a good way to promote local gardens in the area, and that if local gardens promoted the same "brand," more volunteers could be reached (similar to the way musicians use SoundCloud to reach their listening audience). The local Chamber of Commerce and a number of community organizations backed John’s idea. At an open meeting, John met an amazing group of community volunteers, including Master Gardeners, Landscapers, and Eastpointe residents, who were all working together to start the city’s first urban garden. In 2012, the Eastpointe Community Garden became the first urban garden to participate in the Urban Seed Project.
